Talent Awards
Is it necessary to major in a particular
program to be eligible for a talent award?
Talent awards are sometimes limited to students majoring in a particular
field, or to students who use their talent by performing in productions,
plays, and performances.
Are grades an important factor in being
considered for a talent award?
Talent awards are offered on the basis of demonstrated proficiency
in the specific performing area. Grades become a factor only when
students have comparable skill. If you have comparable skill but
stronger grades than another student, you will likely have a better
chance to receive a talent award. For further information, including
deadlines, contact the personnel in the department that administers
the talent award.
