Payment of Scholarship funds
How do I find out if I received a scholarship?
During May/June, the Financial Aid office prepares an award letter
that contains all types of financial aid that are offered to each
student.
This letter is delivered by mail and through my.byuh.edu. When changes are made throughout
the year, the student receives an email notice. The student
may also go online to review changes/additions on my.byuh.edu
If I am awarded a scholarship, how do
I get the funds?
Scholarship funds are automatically transferred to students accounts
at the beginning of each enrollment period. See scholarship disbursement information
If all of my university bills are paid,
can I receive cash from my scholarship?
No, cash disbursement are not available. If all university obligation are paid, credit balances are provided by refund check. See scholarship disbursement information. Additionally,
IWES and sponsored students are limited to receive $1,200 per year
to assist with books and other expenses. Any excess scholarships
funds received by IWES and sponsored students are used to reimburse
GIA funds.
