Theme: Aloha in Action

  1. Making Student Life Fun and Enjoyable
  • Extend dances to 1:00am. Allow students to upload music they would like to hear at the dances. By doing this, it honors all students’ type of music.
  • Create activities that accommodate students cross-culturally. (Tournaments: Scrabble, Sudoku, Jeopardy, Halo, Chess, Church History)
  • Create fun-filled activities for married students both on/off campus. (Pool/Game Center, Movie night in TVA)

  1. School Spirit & Leadership
    • Solicit at least 500 students to be directly/indirectly involved with student government activities the entire year.
    • Create a space for dialogue between students and organizations that influence student life (cafeteria, Administration, Faculty, etc….) by way of open-forums, blogs or personal meetings.
    • Rejuvenate Intramural programs to include other sports such as badminton, Calle, Indoor soccer, Ward Softball and other sports to accommodate our diversity.
  1. Interaction with Community
    • Create mentorship programs between students with the community children. (Big Brother/Big Sister)
    • Attend Laie community Association meetings to determine how students can best help and get involved in the community. ()Service Projects, Sunset on the Beach
