7:30pm McKay Auditorium Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007 7:30pm McKay Auditorium The style of Ryan Shupe & the RubberBand is unique and different from any styles previously heard. They have a country bluegrass sound with pop/rock stylistics. Most of their receptive audience has been those who listen to country music. All the music is originally written and recorded by only the band members, unlike most musicians that have their music changed and have additives to the recordings when making a new music.
Songwriter Peter Breinholt has been delighting audiences with his self-styled acoustic music for more than a decade. He has sold out every major concert hall in his home state of Utah many times over, including Kingsbury Hall, The Tuacahn Red Rock Amphitheater, The Sundance Amphitheater, Thanksgiving Point, the de Jong Concert Hall, among others. His credits also include six albums, a concert DVD, guitar songbooks, film scores, Pearl Awards, songwriting awards, and concerts with several symphony orchestras and choirs, including the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. |
