Important IWES Announcement
The IWES program at BYU-Hawaii provides tremendous financial assistance to students from our target area whom otherwise would not be able to afford a college education. The IWES work/study program is unique to this campus, and has been a great blessing to thousands of students.
An important decision has been made that beginning with the fall 2008 semester, IWES students will no longer be eligible to receive additional institutional scholarships offered by BYUH. IWES students are not eligible to apply for any scholarships for 2008-09.
This additional financial aid is being directed toward other needy students who were not accepted into the IWES program.
As an IWES student making financial preparations and plans for the 2008-09 school year, keep in mind that you will not be eligible to receive any additional institutional aid except for your IWES award and a Book Loan.
