Women win 6-0

Becky Lu won her singles match 6-2, 6-4 today helping her team defeat the rival UH-Hilo Vulcans.

Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s tennis team began their busy week well with a 6-0 victory over rival UH-Hilo in Laie today. The Seasiders won their matches against the visiting Vulcans just in time before the rain set in and before the double matches could finish or the men's game could play.


With the win the Seasiders move to 11-0 on the year which is their 71st consecutive match won. BYU-Hawaii plays William Jewell College tomorrow in it's second match this week. The Seasiders have a tough challenge this week competing in 7 matches in 6 days time. Tomorrow's match will begin at 2pm in Laie.
