Reynolds, Hood, and Elton Named All-Conference

Laie, HI-Three Brigham Young University-Hawaii women's softball players were named to the PacWest All-Conference Team today. Senior centerfielder Margaret Reynolds was named to the First Team and Kassiopeia Hood and Crystal Elton were named to the Second Team.

Reynolds, of Moreno Valley, California, finished her fourth and final season as a Seasider with a .280 batting average, 16 runs, and 13 runs batted in. She was named Honorable-mention all-conference last season.

Hood, a freshman pitcher from Las Vegas, Nevada, was on the mound for four of the Seasiders' 10 victories this season and finished with a .250 batting average.

Junior transfer Crystal Elton, from Aiea, Hawaii, hit .275 while anchoring the Seasiders' infield at shortstop.

Though Reynolds will be missed, the Seasiders are looking forward to a bright future with Hood and Elton.
