Seasiders Win 9-0

 

Junichi Shimoda shown returning a serve won his matches 6-0 and 6-1 today to help his team beat William Jewell.

Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii men’s tennis team defeated William Jewell of Missouri today, 9-0 as they look to gain further momentum in their play throughout this month. The Seasiders, now 3-1 for the season, had 6 sets today that they were able to shut out their opponents from earning a point.

Marvin So’onalole scored a perfect 6-0, 6-0 win at the number five spot as did Junichi Shimoda and Rong Ma who won 8-0 in doubles play.

The Number 25 ranked Seasiders are scheduled to face UH-Hilo on Thursday the 20th at 2:00 pm in Wiapio at Corp.
