Seasiders Complete Win

Chris Rice (shown in earlier action) teamed with Marvin So'onalole for a doubles win over UH-Hilo

Hilo, HI-The Brigham Young University Hawaii men's tennis team defeated UH-Hilo today, 6-0, to complete a match started yesterday that was delayed due to rain. The Seasiders swept the three doubles matches played yesterday and took all three singles matches completed today.

Marvin So'onalole blitzed Mitchel Galina 6-0, 6-0 at number four singles to lead the sweep after teaming with Chris Rice for an 8-6 doubles win at the two spot yesterday. Junyoung Kim claimed a 6-1, 6-0 win over Fuyuki Samejima at number two singles to follow up on his 8-1 doubles win yesterday with partner Junichi Shimoda. Jakub Huza powered his way to a 6-1, 6-1 win over Kevin Tamura at the third singles spot for the Seasiders. He teamed with Tomas Hladil for an 8-4 doubles win yesterday. Hladil was leading his number-one-singles match when play was stopped today.

The Seasiders and Vulcans meet again later today.
