Quick Facts Season | September 25, 2007 Seasiders Finish 14th
Bellingham, WA—The Brigham Young University-Hawaii men’s golf team shot a round of 317 today to finish with a final score of 955 at the Western Washington Invitational. The Seasiders, who improved their scoring over the first two rounds finished in 14th place in the tournament. Abel Soares shot the team’s best round of the tournament today with a three-over-par 75 to finish in 70th place at 243 for the tournament. Brandon Van Dyke came in at 80 today but still finished with the best individual score for the tournament for the Seasiders with a 234, good for a tie for 59th place individually. Kyle Kunioka carded an 81 today to finish in 68th place at 240 and Brett Puterbaugh scored 82 today to complete the tournament at 246 in 71st place. Neal Manutai made 81 today to finish at 255 in 74th place for BYU–Hawaii. British Columbia won the tournament with an 843 score and Jarin Todd of Sonoma State took medalist honors with an eight-under 208 total. The Seasiders next action will be on October 3rd against Hawaii Pacific and Chaminade at Turtle Bay’s Palmer Course at 1:00 pm HST.
