Seasider Golfers Open with Win

Turtle Bay, HI—The Brigham Young University-Hawaii men’s golf team defeated Hawaii Pacific in the first dual match of the fall season today at the Turtle Bay’s Fazio Course. The Seasiders shot a team total of 309 on the par 72 course to defeat the Sea Warriors by 13 strokes.

BYU-Hawaii’s Kyle Kunioka and Brandon Van Dyke earned co-medalist honors by carding identical 76’s in breezy conditions on the beautiful course.

BYU-Hawaii will play again on Thursday at the St. Martin’s Invitational in Olympia, Washington.
