Seasiders Second Again

Turtle Bay, HI—The Brigham Young University-Hawaii men’s golf team finished in second place today in a four-team match at Turtle Bay’s Fazio Course. The Seasiders shot a team total of 305 on the par 72 course to finish just four strokes behind UH-Hilo but ahead of both Hawaii Pacific and Chaminade.

Brandon Van Dyke shot the Seasiders’ low round at two-over-par 74 today, followed closely by Joshua Coon at 75. Kyle Kunioka finished another stroke back at 76 while Brett Puterbaugh and Abel Soares each carded an 80. Neal Manutai shot an 82 for the Seasiders.

BYU-Hawaii will play again next Thursday against Hawaii Pacific and Chaminade.
