Overview
Coconut Express is a limited, advanced-reservation only transportation service provided by BYUH Motor Pool. This low cost service is offered to BYUH students, to and from the Honolulu Airport for a limited time at the beginning or end of each semester or term.
To reserve a seat in the Coconut Express, you need to return part of this form to the BYUH Motor Pool Office before the registration deadline. It is required that you make your reservation before the deadline if you want to use this service.
Policy
Coconut Express charges a general fee of $15. If the registration is received after the deadline, a late fee of $15 will be added. We do take phone reservations, but the seat is not guaranteed until the payment has been submitted to our Office before deadline. You can make phone reservations by calling (808) 675-3400/675-3402, Monday-Friday 7am-5pm Pacific Time. POLICIES: There are NO REFUNDS unless due to our negligence. Once an order is placed and payment received, you will automatically be charged whether or not the service is used. To send payment through mail, please send a check payable to BYU-Hawaii to the address on the end portion of this form. Sorry, we do not accept Traveler's Checks. Arrival
When you arrive at the airport, after you have claimed your baggage, you should go and wait at Foreign Arrival, Baggage Claim E curbside or Baggage Claim G curbside. If you're on Hawaiian or Aloha Airline, please wait at Hawaiian Baggage Claim B curbside. Because of the different Flight Arrivals of students who have made reservations, there may be a 2-3 hour wait. Please wait patiently, if you would like to confirm your arrival or in the event you are unable to locate the shuttle or driver, please call BYUH Motor Pool Office at 675-3400 or 675-3402, Monday-Friday 7am-5pm or call Security Office at 675-3911. Luggage allowance for Coconut Express is 2 suitcases and 2 small carry-ons. There is a fee of $10 for any extra luggage. We cannot promise to transport odd size luggage, bikes or surfboards.
