Flex Plus is a meal value built right into your University I.D.   It works like a debit card and can be used at the Seasider Snack Bar or The Club Dining Facility.


Who is eligible for Flex Plus ?
BYUH Students, Faculty, Staff, Missionaries and Administrators, as well as spouses, and dependents.

Signing up for a Flex Plus account
  • Complete the Flex Plus contract and take the completed contract and payment to the Food Services Accounting Office located in The Club during business hours.


  • Or mail your completed contract to:

    Laie, HI 96762.
    Please NO cash through the mail.


  • Your initial deposit needs to be a minimum of twenty dollars ($20), with no minimum thereafter. Allow one business day for activation after payment is received.

Adding additional money to your account.
Visit any Food Services Cashier and add funds to your I.D. card using cash, check, credit, or debit. Funds are accessible immediately.

Current Balance.
Your account balance is shown after each transaction. It’s up to date!

Using your University ID.
You must be present to use your card. Beginning December 2004, all University I.D.’s are issued and encoded with a built in debit card feature. Older cards will need to be replaced free of charge by visiting BYUH Student Activities located in the Aloha Center. I.D. hours are Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm, closed on holidays, weekends and devotionals. Lost cards are reissued for a small fee.

*To close your account, visit the Food Services Accounting Office during business hours. A processing fee of $10 will be charged to refund your unused balance.
** BYUH Food Services reserves the right to close an account after six months of inactivity. A $10 processing fee will be assessed to your remaining funds. Any additional funds on the card will be returned to you less the cost of the check and postage.
***Flex Plus funds are non-transferable.
****To protect your rights under the Federal Electronic Funds Transfer Act you must notify us of any error in your account within 60 days of the date of the error’s appearance on your account. Contact the Food Services Accounting Office at (808) 293-3573.
