Frequently Asked Question

Using your BYUH I.D. for a meal plan.

Each customer must present a valid BYUH I.D. to enter. Students are not allowed to access more then three meals per day and one meal per meal period. Any one in violation will be given a warning and then turned into the Honors code Office.
Meal ticket credit is non-transferable. This means that meals cannot be given to someone else. Any person using another individuals I.D. will be turned into the Standards Office, and the I.D. card will be confiscated.
Customers with Flex Dollars or Flex Plus may purchase meals for others but they must be present with their card.

Lost ID's / Replacing your card

If you lose your ID you must report your lost card and obtain a new one, as soon as possible (Report to the Student Activities office in the Aloha Center). This will ensure that your old card is deactivated and will prevent others from getting access to your meals and money available on the card.
Students who lose their card over the weekend or while the Student Services office is closed may use the Lost ID PassEissued at the Food Services cash register. Excessive use of this procedure will result in a NO ID, NO EATEpolicy to the student. The limit on using this procedure is 7 times per semester and 7 times per term. To use the Lost ID Pass a student must bring another form of ID (passport, drivers license, PCC ID and etcE and present this to the cashier. This procedure will only be used to access 14/19 meal plan holders accounts. Flex and Flex Plus dollars will not be accessed without a working, valid BYUH ID. We expect each student to be responsible enough to bring his/her ID all the time.

Sick Trays and Sack Lunches

We provide a sack lunch operation known as the WikilineEfor students on the 14/19 meal plan, who may have a busy schedule and are not able to eat during the scheduled breakfast, lunch or dinner times. The Wikiline is open Monday-Saturday during the breakfast meal times.
If you are sick in bed, we allow a take out tray to be provided for you. Your friend, roommate or RA must bring your ID and a note with your signature and present it to the cashier. The sack meal will include a paper sack, fork, knife, two drinks, and one serving each of two entrees. You are allowed desserts and salads but they must fit into the take-out tray and they should not be stuffed into the paper sack.
If you are called into work at the last minute and it conflicts with the meal time, you must give us a written note from your supervisor or have the supervisor call the Club supervisor (293-3571) to let us know the times that you will be working.

Taking Food out of the Club

Because of health and sanitation concerns, we do not allow food to be taken out of the building except for a few situations as listed above. Other than sack meals in the morning and sick trays, all food obtained at the cafeteria must be consumed within the facility.

Special Dietary Needs

If you have special dietary needs, please see the Club Manager who will be more than happy to assist you in your daily eating needs.
