Scholarship Requirements:
- Minimum CGPA 3.5, Minimum Religion Class GPA 3.7
- Major: Business, English, TESOL, or Education major
- Abide by the Honor Code of the University
- Enrolled at BYU-Hawaii for 12 credit hours per semester (6 credits per term)
- Returned Missionary
- Actively living the standards of the LDS Church
- Demonstration of financial need
- Junior or Senior class status
- Attach a completed Financial Need Worksheet (included with application form), and attach required documents, W-2's, etc.
If eligible, complete the FAFSA and attach a copy of the Student Aid Report you receive from the Department of Education.
- Submit a scholarship application form to the Religion Department by the deadline.
- Attach a typed, one-page essay to your application.

Application:
- Download and print the Winegar Larson Endowed Scholarship Application Form to apply for this scholarship.
- Type a one-page essay. Follow the proper essay format. Provide an official copy of your last semester's grades along with your cumulative GPA.
- Letter of recommendation from an instructor who teaches within your major field of study
- Letter of recommendation from your current Bishop verifying your Church activity.

Application forms are also available at the Financial Aid Office located in the Snow Administration Building. Or if you need forms sent to you, use the information at the bottom left hand corner to contact the Scholarship Office.

Notification:
All recipients will be notified by December 1st as to whether they have received this scholarship.
