Grade Probation Policies

  In the past the suspension process has been ambiguous and subjectively applied. A more definite criterion must be defined. Specific protocol must be ascribed to the suspension process for those who have failed to respond to interventive efforts.

Process/Procedure:

  If the student after having received grade probation status has a successive term or semester in which either his semester/term or their cumulative Grade Point Average is below 2.0, the student is then suspended from school. They can no longer attend school as a degree or non-degree seeking student. They can not continue at the University as a part-time student, a student with a reduced load or attend school through Continuing Education Department. They must be absent from the University for at least twelve full months and then they may re-apply for admission. The student may want to note application deadlines.
