GEORGE S EARLL Age 67, of Honolulu died September 21, 2004. Born in Murrysville, Pennsylvania February 4,
1937. Graduated from Franklin High School in 1956-a member of the National
Honor Society as well as Athletics Choir and Theatre Studies. George worked with General Mills in Pittsburgh soon after graduation. He then relocated to Philadelphia and New York working in the food and beverage industry. He opened
his first restaurant in New York City in 1962, and later relocated to Boston and then Hawaii. In Hawaii he worked in food and beverage management with the
Royal Hawaiian Hotel, the Oahu Country Club as well as other fine food and
beverage establishments. Survived by sister, Helen Brueckman
of Pennsylvania; two nieces, Ruth Craddock and Deborah Heath; one
nephew, John T. Daw; preceded in passing by nephew
James E. Daw. A large and loving extended hanai family in Hawaii-a family who will always love him very much-also
survives George. As one family member says, "He was a very sweet, cool man
and my favorite uncle of all." His hanai family
agrees. Celebration at the Waikiki Elk's Club, 2933 Kalakaua
