Folk, 75, retired assistant director of the Federal Aviation Agency, South Pacific
Region, died Jan. 31, He helped the
federal government acquire land for airfields, communication sites, and access roads in Hawaii, Guam, Samoa,
Midway, Wake and Palmyra. During World
War II, he helped the federal government obtain Chinchona
bark from which quinine, essential in the treatment of malaria
