Every semester, the Education Curriculum Library has a theme to motivate teachers and give them ideas. This semester, our theme is “When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth.”
Children of all ages are fascinated by this species that lived so long ago. They marvel at their enormous size, various habitats, and the mystery behind their disappearance. Invite your students to become dinosaur specialists in all areas of the curriculum by incorporating dinosaurs into the different subjects.
The Education Curriculum Library has large posters, puzzles, activity books, science instruction books, big books, and CD-ROM’s related to dinosaurs. The book, Dinosaurs, (Curr/Ref Science F967 1994d) provides a variety of whole language activities that facilitate all aspects of communication. This book gives tips on bulletin boards, creating centers, sending letters home to parents and evaluating students work. The best dinosaur resources are listed on a pathfinder available at the desk in the Education Curriculum Library or found on the Internet at: http://library.byuh.edu/ under the heading for the Education Curriculum Library.

The Education Curriculum Library hours are:
Mon. - Thur. 10:00-10:00 (closed from 1-2:00)
Friday 10:00-6:00 (closed from 1-2:00)
Saturday 9:00-1:00
