Music surrounds our everyday life. We are in a constant state of listening to the music on the radio, the chirping of birds, or even the music of street traffic. Music is everywhere around us, but little time on the actual instruction and understanding of music. The simple truth is: music makes you smarter. It is proven children who are musically trained do better academically, socially, and are more dependent in the work force. You don't have to have a degree in music to integrate this all encompassing subject into the classroom. There are many ideas and resources that will help you teach music, from games and computer programs to different musical instruments available to you. Before you know it, your students will be players in an orchestra of knowledge and information, as well as experience. We invite you to become a conductor and lead you class in the amazing experience of music.
