Skeleton of the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex
Through the eyes of most children and many adults,
dinosaurs are thought to have been among the
most fantastic groups of animals to have ever existed. The study of dinosaurs,
and the learning of
each animal's name, length and weight, is for most children, their first introduction
to science. The following pathfinder lists resources for a teacher to use to
incorporate the learning of dinosaurs into a whole language classroom as well
as the simple study of dinosaurs. The items listed are just a sampling of the
material available in the Education Curriculum Library and the children's collection.
This pathfinder is meant to lead you through a discovery process to find all
the places where pertinent information can be found. Good hunting!
