Aloha! Friends, Students, Alumni,
Come join the 6th Annual Social Work Department Conference. We are delighted to come together and celebrate during the Golden Jubilee week. The conference will include workshops, displays, networking, and entertainment.
Cost of the Conference for non-students is $5.00 for lunch and donations for the department student scholarship fund will also be accepted.
If you are interested in doing the following please contact Dr. Debbie Hippolite Wright or Hi'i Campbell (contact information below):
- Provide a 50 minute interactive workshop on some aspect of social work
- Nominate a social worker for the "Heart of Social Work Award":
- The Heart of Social Work Award is presented to an individual who has worked for the betterment of their community in a significant way. This individual should exemplify Christlike ideals.
- Send a video clip or photographs with a brief description about yourself and what you are doing to be used in an alumni DVD presentation during the conference (videos must be received by September 15th)
