Objectives
Unifying our University 'Ohana
of Faculty, Staff, Students, & Visitors as we seek to:
- Synchronize technology, functions, and communications among all four BYU institutions
- Improve information database quality, handling procedures, and controls
- Improve infrastructure for peak user access, such as course enrollment and grade time
- Reduce the vast amount of paper storage by moving forms and applications online
- Provide easier access, operation, and strategic decision-making capability by increasing self-service access to integrated information and by giving special attention and training to each department and employee
- Increase efficiency in time, expenditures, and work effort by improving project management, coordination, communication, and cooperation across campus departments
- Reduce implementation costs, administrative barriers, and delivery time of services by implementing best business practice models
- Upgrade faculty and staff service and support of institutional initiatives by empowering them to take advantage of new technology
- Improve efficiency through workflow charts, service indicators, and checklists
- Enhance the institution's appeal by unifying the University's Internet content and identity and providing easier access to data for BYU-Hawaii's internal and global users
