Chess club was founded in the Fall Semester 2003. Eventhough it is a new club, but it has a lot of good responses from students. Students find in there a place where they can learn, share, and compete with each other about one of the most popular sport in the world-Chess. Members of Chess Club are trying to bring new and exciting activities to students of BYU-Hawaii. Each semester, we have tournement where you can challenge your self with the other competitors. Also, we have friends from the other Chess Club of other universities come to play, exchange, and share Chess together. We hope we can bring and share with you the spirit of Chess, and we hope you will enjoy it.

Upcoming Events:
The Chess tournament is this saturday April 10, in ACR 155/165 at 8 am. There is a 50 dollar first prize and cash for second and third as well, so come for the fun or come for the money.
