Aikido Testing
Requirements

The ranking structure of Aikido is split into two catagories: students of the kyu rank and students of the dan rank. The kyu ranks start beginning with 5th kyu, then 4th kyu and so on until 1st kyu. After 1st kyu, the student receives a black belt and begins the dan ranks, beginning with shodan, then nidan, and continues.

Rank testing is usually held during the last week or two of the semester, before finals. All kyu rank testing requirements are available for download as a pdf document and is only provided as a reference to the United States Aikido Federation Western Region Test Requirements.
