English as an International Language (EIL)
English as an
International Language Minor
Students for whom English is an additional language beyond their native language
may receive a minor in English as an International Language. This minor provides
academic experience in written and spoken English and prepares students who plan
to use English in addition to their first language once they leave the University
Students applying for this minor must complete the following courses with a grade
of C-or higher:

| Engl. 101 | 3 hours |
| Engl. 201 | 3 hours |
| Engl. 315 | 3hours |
| Total hours required for a minor | 18 hours |
*These hours may be completed by either enrolling in EIL courses or by applying for credit by examination.
